Every year, Newton South students are asked to read one of five books relating to a common theme and then discuss the book as part of the One School One Question program. This year, the books ranged from graphic novels to non-fiction account of women’s soccer.
The question for this year was “What brings you joy?”I’m A Simple Woman Harry Potter Beer And Taco Shirt
For 2018, Brian Baron, the head of the English department, tried to make One School One Question a more fun and less educational event.
“The question was about joy so it was more about having fun and less debate,” Baron said.
