I know some of my fellow Malaysians are upset at Hassan. He never once spoke ill of Malaysia or Malaysians. He’s always expressed gratitude for all the people who helped him. He might not have explicitly thanked each group or each individual, but let us just be happy for this man who has gone through a huge ordeal. Yes, people knew Hassan was stuck in a KLIA terminal, but they also knew that there were great Malaysians who helped him survive the tough period. He did not make us look bad. If anything, he showcased the Malaysian hospitality. So, let us be happy for him.
