Probably made it so dark because they couldn’t afford the CGI effects and graphics because they have to pay the characters more now they are listers. I enjoyed it but I just can’t help thinking how rushed this series is but then they spend the Game Of Thrones White Walker the Night King shirt two episodes messing around can’t win. Apparently, they made it dark as to try and be a natural to the era as possible as they didn’t have electricity back then so how you watched it was as close to how they could see whilst fighting, etc. Martin Gardner, I have one and I could barely see anything.
